Students

The sixth grade class took a trip to Keene State College to get some experience with higher education opportunities close to Brattleboro. We had a scavenger hunt all over campus, which required the students to interact with faculty, staff and current students.

Some students played a game of tag, others chose to relax and observe the campus from the quad

Thank you to all the parents who contributed items to the sixth grade bake sale. Five students came out to the cold February gallery walk to help raise money for our trip to Boston. With all the help we raised over $200 at the bake sale.

The Bake sale is set up and ready to go

The temperature dropped rapidly, but spirits remained high

This week we studied Ancient China and the Qin Dynasty.
Our class wrote and acted out a talk show in which they interviews archaeologists, Emperor Qin and others involved in his dynasty.

Our question of the week is: Why is it important to study about the past?
